Meshanticut LakeMeshanticut Lake is a small, 12-acre pond that forms the focal point of Meshanticut State Park. While the entire shoreline of the pond is park land, it is just a narrow strip so houses are visible in every direction. None-the-less, this is a pleasant little lake and a good place to fish with easy waters. The pond is stocked with trout in the early spring and holds numerous types of fish.
Location: Cranston, RI. Directions: Route 37 west from I-295 or I-95. Go to the end of Route 37, just beyond I-295, and turn right onto Phenix Avenue.
